Kibuku District
Kibuku District is a new district in Eastern Uganda, mainly occupied by the Bagwere. It is named after its 'chief town', Kibuku.
Kibuku District is bordered by Pallisa District to the north, Budaka District to the east, Butaleja District to the south, and Namutumba District to the west. The district headquarters at Kibuku, are located approximately 53 kilometres (33 mi), by road, west of Mbale, the largest city in the sub-region.
Kibuku County is made up of one County which is also called Kibuku. The sub counties of Kibuku: Bulangira sub County, Buseta sub County, Kadama sub County, Kibuku sub County, Kagumu sub County, Kirika sub County, Tirinyi sub County, Kabweri sub County, Kasasira sub County, Kibuku
